We get asked this question quite frequently.  The answer – maybe.  While it is crucial that you follow the car manufacturers engine oil specifications, if your car is not a very current model (2009 and up) you may have some more options.  Many of the newest models require synthetic oil and some European models have their own special oils.  Other makes and models may benefit from the longer life and better lubricating qualities of a synthetic oil.  In some cases you can now extend your engine oil change interval to 10-15 thousand miles!
